SPECIAL EVENTS
Become Better Friends with Materials for the Arts
Creative Reuse starts with an understanding of the power of materials. Friends of Materials for the Arts is committed to bringing unique opportunities to the larger public, New York City public school students, and arts and cultural institutions in partnership with Materials for the Arts.
MASKED MARVELOUS
Once a year, MFTA’s warehouse is transformed for our annual fundraiser into a magical, marvelous space. The aisles are creatively designed and decorated from the trove of donated items. Our Masked Marvelous party is the best way to experience the MFTA community–a NYC highlight not to be missed.

One of the highlights of 2017 was a fundraising concert we hosted starring the legendary Paul Simon. In collaboration with his accompanist Mark Stewart, Mr. Simon gave an intimate concert in the warehouse attended by more than 150 guests which raised funds for our general programming.
