Virtual Gallery Opening

“Contemporary Reuse 2020”
With Q&A Artist Discussion
MFTA Third Thursday

Thursday, April 16, 7-8pm

Join us during Earth Month for the virtual opening of Contemporary Reuse 2020. MFTA’s annual exhibition Contemporary Reuse showcases artists who make creative reuse a central part of their practice. This year’s show features the unique works of Cecile Chong, Lars Fisk, Howard Lerner, Tijay Mohammed, Carolina Peñafiel, and Jason Rohlf.

For this virtual opening event, MFTA invites you for a guided tour of the exhibition, and an interactive online Q&A discussion with participating artists Cecile Chong, Tijay Mohammed, Carolina Peñafiel, and Jason Rohlf. These artists will share the inspiration for their work, their process of choosing materials, and their thoughts on reuse artmaking.

Event registration is now closed. If you would still like to see the event, please see the live stream on our Facebook page at 7pm.
