Upcycled Mask Making

MFTA Third Thursday
Thursday, October 15, 7-8pm

Learn how to make your own upcycled mask with MFTA Master Teaching Artist, Joy Suarez. For years, Joy has led mask making activities at MFTA’s October gala, Masked Marvelous. This year we have postponed our gala, and we are bringing this creative reuse project to you.

MFTA invites you for an evening of mask making, while you explore using items from around your own home. This online event will be live-streamed to YouTube and attendees can engage directly with Joy by submitting questions during the Q&A.

Suggested Materials: Envelops, card stock, discarded paper products, yarn, ribbon, string, old buttons, beads, fabric scraps, scissors, glue (hot glue preferred), and tape.
