Guided Exhibition Tour

MFTA Third Thursday
Thursday, September 26, 2020

Join us for the virtual opening of the exhibition Phase 2: See something, Say something by MFTA Artist-in-Residence Tijay Mohammed. While working at MFTA, Mohammed gathered a diverse array of materials including MetroCards, beads, hats, and t-shirts, which he has transformed into multiple large-scale installations. Mohammed’s perceptive use of commonly found objects creates poetic representations of real world issues.

MFTA invites you for a guided video tour of the exhibition with Tijay Mohammed and MFTA Director of Education John Cloud Kaiser. The online event will be live-streamed to YouTube and attendees can engage directly with Tijay and John by asking questions.*

*To submit questions during the event, use the chat feature on YouTube. You must log in to your YouTube account to use the chat and download the YouTube app for mobile use. Visit the YouTube sign-in page to create a YouTube login.
