Guided Tour of Materials for the Arts

March 24 @ 1:00 pm - 1:45 pm

Join us for a live tour of Materials for the Arts and learn more about NYC’s premier creative reuse center.

Materials for the Arts (MFTA), a program of the NYC Department of Cultural Affairs, provides free materials to arts and cultural organizations, public schools, and City agencies. Founded in 1978, MFTA keeps valuable materials from entering the landfill and puts them into the hands of arts professionals, educators, students, cultural workers, and program leaders across the five boroughs.

Hosted through Instagram Live, you will be able to tour MFTA’s working warehouse, understand its operations, and learn how the organization continues to serve NYC.

This event is hosted as a part of Circular City Week.
