Make Masked Marvelous Decorations with Shelton Lindsay
October 17 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Join us to make decorations with the extraordinary artist, designer, and performer, Shelton Lindsay. This year, Lindsay is the designer and curator of our annual fundraiser, Masked Marvelous, MFTA’s fabulous celebration of creativity, reuse, and the NYC arts community. Go behind the scenes of Masked Marvelous and construct décor that will transform our warehouse into an extravagant event space. Shelton will lead guests through hands-on decorating projects using non-traditional art supplies and reusable materials from the MFTA warehouse to highlight this year’s theme of Grit & Glamour.

About Masked Marvelous
Our annual gala, Masked Marvelous, will be held this year on Thursday, October 24. This event is not your typical sit-down gala or benefit. We use donated materials to turn the warehouse into a fun and quirky destination with delicious local food, signature cocktails, and roving entertainment.
Our 18th annual Masked Marvelous will bring attendees on a journey through the five boroughs of New York, highlighting their unique Grit & Glamour with mask-making, music, dancing and entertainment. MFTA members may purchase discount tickets to Masked Marvelous for $75 by entering their school or organization when prompted at checkout. Get Tickets!
