Materials for the Arts is collaborating with The Moth for a Community Engagement Intro Workshop and StorySLAM!
The Moth Community Program provides the space, tools, and expertise for people to practice the art and craft of personal storytelling. They partner with community organizations, cultural institutions, and nonprofits to host workshops that inspire confidence and self-reflection and deepen connections within and between communities.
This workshop on Thursday, May 7, 2026 from 6:30 to 8:30pm at MFTA. The class will allow attendees to reflect on their experiences, develop their storytelling skills, and create community through the narrative they’ll develop that evening.
Registration for this event will open in spring 2026.
