Join us on Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 6:30 — 8:30pm for the solo exhibition opening of MFTA Artist-in-Residence Magda Love. Also known as Maria Magdalena Marcenaro, Magda Love is a distinguished Argentinean visual artist and muralist based in the United States. Her artwork is a celebration of color, nature and humanity.
Magda Love’s aim is to inspire others to recognize the value in shared personal experience and emotional connectivity. Magda loves to play with the ideas of Magical Realism, a contemporary twist on Latin American folk arts and literature, inviting the viewers to discover, imagine and bridge to a land of make believe Renowned for painting one of the largest murals in NYC; she is constantly on a quest to explore different mediums including painting, sculpture, textiles and embroideries.
