MFTA’s Free Interactive Online Art Classes inspire students to independently work on a work of art during or after school hours.
Inspired by the field trips taught by our master teachers, these age appropriate interactive art lessons include videos, information about sustainability, and a hands on art activity they’ll share with their class.
FREE + PAID FIELD TRIPS WITH A LIVE ARTIST
VIRTUAL FIELD TRIPS
Using a video conferencing application like Zoom, Google Hangouts, or Webex, a MFTA Teaching Artist can directly teach your students.
We begin with an introduction about Materials for the Arts and the reusable materials in their spaces, and then go into a hands on art activity for your students.
DIGITAL LESSON PLANS
We are pleased to share our Creative Reuse Lesson Plans, inspired by Joy Suarez, for teachers to incorporate into their online curriculum.
These low or no budget projects can be used across multiple subject areas, learning styles and ability levels.
