Creative REuse Through Dance

Join us on Thursday, January 17  from 6:30-8:30pm for an evening of movement-based storytelling with artists Ambika Raina and Katrina Reid.

Ambika and Katrina invite you to create your own performance art piece with reusable materials from MFTA. In this workshop, participants will use an assortment of household items from MFTA’s warehouse as prompts to create original characters and worlds. The artists will demonstrate how various fabrics can be put into motion as props and costumes.

January’s Third Thursday is organized by Benedict Nguyen, ISSUE Project Room’s 2019 Suzanne Fiol Curatorial Fellow
