    MFTA Third Thursday

Join us for a conversation with our current and former Artists-in-Residence, Roberto Visani and Michael Kelly Williams. Visani is a multi-media artist based in Brooklyn and faculty at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Williams, from Detroit, Michigan, is a celebrated sculptor and print-maker. The two will discuss their art, personal stories, creative reuse, racial identity, and politics, during this special celebration of artists. The audience will be invited to ask questions and to tour the current art exhibition on view at the MFTA Gallery which features some of Visani’s work.
