This studio class will take a single product — fabric — and work out its historical, scientific, social and mathematical properties through hands-on art making.

In this hands-on studio course, you will learn to make puppets, props, miniature sets — and more — using new techniques in creative reuse.

Paper making, pen and ink, block prints, stenciling, silkscreen and collage. Each session will focus on new methods for art-curriculum integration including: math, science, social studies and literacy.

In this studio art course, participants will experiment with numerous techniques found in cutting, folding, shaping and molding multiple weights and sizes of upcycled paper found in the MFTA warehouse.
