McKendree Key leads our November Third Thursday workshop.
Key’s practice is centered on the exploration of wasted, overlooked or inaccessible spaces in the city. Since 2004 she has made large-scale interactive works which she refers to as “Divided Spaces,” installations that are an investigation into the volume of domestic and commercial spaces in urban environments.
For our Third Thursday workshop, McKendree will explore and examine the many ways found objects and abandon materials can be repurposed in artistic ways, including creating original sculpture characters.
